How are you different from other Midwestern groups that serve non-profits and their information technology needs?
We work closely with a number of other non-profit groups that do a wonderful job of serving the community.
Highway T, for instance, (a division of MNA - the Michigan Nonprofit Association) is a partner with whom ardentCause collaborates.
ardentCause is focused on developing solutions that benefit the grant-making foundations and their constituencies and those they fund.  We work with HighwayT to solve technology challenges for the smaller and mid-sized non-profits.  HighwayT also offers an accessible series of training sessions to educate Michigan non-profits in various technology topics.  We communicate and promote those to anyone who can benefit from them.
NEW (Non-Profit Enterprise at Work) is another great provider of managed services to the non-profit community, with a particular focus on the "thin client" space.  We promote them to the entire Michigan non-profit community and recommend them for education, publications and consulting for non-profits, and their boards, with a special focus on organizational governance.

What is the difference between your Virtual CIO service and your Cause IT Outreach service?

Virtual CIO is the deployment of a part-time senior technology executive to ardentCause clients.  This executive will be dedicated to aligning an organization's overall and annual strategy to the appropriate use of the best technology solutions to achieve a non-profit's mission.

Cause IT Outreach is the deployment of a volunteer or volunteers focused on general counsel and advice around an organization's use of techology.

Do I have to be a 501(c)3 to be eligible for an IT Mentor as part of your Cause IT Outreach program?

No.  Any non-profit organization is eligible to use Cause IT Outreach services.

How do I sign up for Cause IT Outreach?

Please contact us at info@ardentCause.com and we will respond promptly to your request for consulting and services.
